Your Recurring Care Options
Ongoing, season-based services designed to keep your lawn healthy, tidy, and on schedule—without you having to manage the details.
Why recurring services work in North Texas
Most lawn problems here are preventable. Recurring care wins because it:
Hits the timing windows (pre-emergent, fertilization, disease, insects) instead of reacting late
Builds thick turf that naturally crowds out weeds
Reduces surprises (less catch-up mowing, fewer overgrown shrubs, fewer “emergency” weeds)
Makes results predictable over 12 months (one-off treatments can’t do that)
This is the foundation of a great lawn in North Texas. We apply the right nutrients and weed control in the right seasonal windows so your turf gets thicker, greener, and more resilient—without you having to guess what to do next.
Fertilization & Weed Control Program (Associates Degree)
What’s included:
3 pre-emergent treatments (stop weeds before they start)
3 fertilization treatments (nitrogen-based to build thick green turf)
1 soil enhancement treatment (balances soil and sets up spring growth)
1 insecticide treatment (targets common lawn pests; can also help with fleas/ticks depending on conditions)
Post-emergent weed control rounds (included with every service)
Warranty/booster visits between services if needed
Watering instructions (email + door hanger)
Photo records of progress
Access to diagnostics/soil analysis recommendations when needed*
Schedule & timing:
Treatments are typically scheduled every 4–6 weeks depending on the season. We follow a year-round calendar so you’re always in the right window.
What to expect:
Weeks 1–8: turf starts to green up; existing weeds may discolor or look worse before they die back
Weed pressure drops as pre-emergent timing improves and turf thickens
Full-year mark: best indicator of what your lawn can look like with complete seasonal coverage
Note: *Treatment timing varies based on weather, turf type, and application windows. If a lawn is heavily overrun with weeds, it can take longer to fully get under control.
If you want your lawn to perform at a higher level, this add-on protects the four most common “silent killers” in North Texas: insects, fire ants, disease, and soil/thatch problems. It’s built to prevent damage before it becomes expensive to fix.
Grub, Ant, Disease, & Aeration Add-On (Bachelors Degree GADA)
What’s included:
Grub worm + chinch bug + billbug prevention (protects roots and turf from hidden damage)
Year-long fire ant control (restricted-use application where appropriate)
Spring disease prevention + fall disease prevention (helps prevent common fungal outbreaks)
Liquid aeration + dethatch (2x/year) to reduce compaction and thatch and increase oxygen in the root zone
Why this matters:
Grubs/insects can damage roots before you see anything above ground.
Fire ants ruin the backyard—especially for kids and pets.
Disease is one of the biggest causes of summer/fall lawn decline in North Texas.
Compaction and thatch block water and nutrients; liquid aeration helps without risking sprinkler-head damage from mechanical cores.
Schedule & pricing notes:
This is a preventative add-on layered onto the base Associates Lawn Treatment program. The price listed on the proposal is per application. When combined with the base program, this results in 14 total applications per calendar year.
This is the easiest way to keep shrubs and beds looking consistently manicured through the growing season. We trim with trained crews and hand-weed beds during each visit—so you don’t have to schedule one-off cleanups when things get out of control.
Shrub Trimming & Bed Care
(Every-Other-Month Package)
What’s included in each visit:
Trim shrubs as needed (based on plant type and growth)
Hand-weed flower beds
Clean up and debris haul-off (with disposal fee)
Frequency:
Every other month during growth season (March–November)
Plus one additional pruning visit in January for plants that need seasonal cut-back
How pricing works:
Rate: $69.95 per man-hour (per crew member) + tax
Minimum charge: $139.90 (typically 2-man crew for 1 hour)
Example: 1.5 hours with a 3-man crew = 1.5 × $209.85 = $314.76 + tax
Disposal fee: $9.95 to haul off clippings/debris
What affects the time:
Builder-grade shrubs + light weeds: often 2–3 man-hours on this frequency
Beds with heavy weeds (especially grassy weeds): can take longer until under control
Consistency lowers cost over time because there’s less catch-up work each visit
Need a one-time reset? We’ll send a trained crew to clean things up fast. If you want it to stay that way, the recurring package is the better value—because fewer weeds and less overgrowth means less labor each visit.
Shrub & Bed Service
(On-Demand / One-Time)
How pricing works:
Rate: $84.95 per man-hour (per crew member) + tax
Minimum charge: $169.90
Example: 1.5 hours with a 3-man crew = 1.5 × $254.85 = $382.28 + tax
Disposal fee: $9.95 to haul off clippings/debris
Recommended trimming frequency:
Most shrubs look best when trimmed every 6–8 weeks during the growing season (March–November), plus one winter pruning (December/January) for select plants.
FAQs
-
Most lawns show early improvements within the first 1–2 months, but the best indicator is one full year on program because every seasonal application matters.
-
That’s usually a normal reaction. Weeds can twist, discolor, and stand out more as they die back—especially mature weeds.
-
Mowing is available only with a fertilization and weed control package. Healthy turf + correct seasonal treatments are what create a great yard.
-
We schedule around seasonal windows and notify you. Treatments are typically 4–6 weeks apart, depending on the time of year.
-
Heavy weed pressure can initially increase labor time. The good news: recurring visits reduce the workload and cost over time as the beds get under control.
-
Liquid aeration is applied as a liquid treatment, so it avoids the sprinkler-head risks that can come with mechanical core aeration.
