More Than Mowing

Mowing Is Just One Part of a Great Yard

Most homeowners want a yard that looks clean, healthy, and cared for every week. But mowing alone does not solve everything. Grass height, mowing frequency, weed pressure, fertilization timing, shrub growth, bed weeds, and seasonal cleanup all work together.

That is why we offer lawn mowing as part of a larger maintenance approach. We combine our reliable mowing services only with our fertilization and weed control packages, or choose a plan that also helps with shrubs, beds, and overall curb appeal.

A Great Yard Works as a System

Seasonal Service Schedule

Our Seasonal Lawn Mowing & Winter Cleanup Schedule

North Texas lawns change throughout the year. That is why our mowing schedule adjusts with the growing season, and winter cleanup is available when leaves start building up on the lawn.

March

Bi-weekly mowing as grass comes out of dormancy and the lawn begins growing again.

April–October

Weekly mowing during the main growing season to keep the lawn clean, consistent, and properly maintained.

November

Bi-weekly mowing as growth slows down and the lawn begins transitioning into the dormant season.

Optional Winter Leaf Cleanup: December–February

Once mowing slows down, many homeowners choose winter leaf cleanup to keep the property looking cared for and prevent leaves from sitting too long on the lawn.

December

Every-other-week leaf cleanup visits to help manage heavy leaf drop and keep the lawn and landscape areas clean.

January–February

Monthly winter cleanup visits to remove remaining leaves and help keep the property looking maintained during the dormant season.

Why This Matters

During peak growing season, weekly mowing helps protect the health and appearance of your lawn. Inconsistent mowing can stress the turf, invite weeds, and make even a fertilized lawn look uneven. During winter, regular leaf cleanup helps reduce heavy leaf cover, matting, trapped moisture, and other conditions that can stress the lawn or interfere with upcoming lawn treatments.

What is included with Professional Lawn Mowing?

Our lawn mowing service entails much more than just cutting your grass. We will tend to the little details that are often overlooked by homeowners or cheap options.

String-trimming: We use string-trimmers to cut grass in those hard-to-reach spots, such as around trees and near fences and walls.

Steel Blade Edging: We use a 9 inch steel blade edge along where your lawn meets hard surfaces to give it a clean-cut look. We don’t try and save time by using the string-trimmer causing an uneven cut. A clean edge is important!

Blowing: All concrete and hardscape areas to clear any clippings and leave your property looking pristine.

The Right Mowing Helps Your Lawn Treatments Work Better

We want to keep your lawn healthy, so we follow best mowing practices to ensure we deliver exceptional results every time. We will rotate our mowing patterns each visit to prevent creating ruts in your soil and causing unbalanced turf growth. We will also adjust the mower deck height to your turf type so that we cut it to the proper length. Additionally, we won't cut more than 1/3 off the top of the grass blades. This way, we won't put excess stress on your lawn or compromise its health.

Fertilization & Weed Control

Want Fewer Weeds and a Healthier Lawn Too?

Mowing keeps your yard looking clean, but fertilization and weed control help improve the health and appearance of the grass itself. If you want a greener lawn with fewer weeds, we’ll help pair your mowing with the right fertilization and weed control package.
